# Marketplace

The Chainmonsters marketplace is deeply integrated and powered by [AtomicHub](https://atomichub.io/) through [Wombat](https://www.wombat.app/) that allows players to access trading right from within the game, providing a real-time and convenient way to exchange [assets ](/game-economy/assets.md)with other players within the safe and sound environment of the game!

### Real-time Updates <a href="#marketplace-real-timeupdates" id="marketplace-real-timeupdates"></a>

Any time a minted [Chainmon](/game-economy/assets/chainmons.md) gains strength or is influenced by something in-game, these changes are reflected in real-time on the marketplace, allowing you to react and make strategic trading decisions on a granular and up-to-date basis depending on the actual game state.

**Chainmon Capability Expansion:**

* Enhancing the abilities and strengths of your Chainmons is a critical aspect of gameplay in Chainmonsters. The marketplace plays a key role in this process.

**Trading and Transferring On-Chain:**

* Players are trading and transferring their Chainmons exclusively on-chain. This process will be supported by a Layer 2 network, providing flexibility and security in transactions while keeping gas consumption to a minimum.

**Buying and Selling Assets:**

* The marketplace is a hub for buying and selling various in-game assets, including [Chainmons](/game-economy/assets/chainmons.md), [Land](/game-economy/assets/land.md), and other [valuable items](/game-economy/assets/cosmetics-and-consumables.md).
