Chainmons come in a wide variety of species and are further differentiated by their variant and randomly generated individual attributes.
ATK: A high Attack value makes your Chainmon hit harder and dealing inceased damage.
DEF: Determines the defensive capabilities, neglecting any incoming damage to some extend.
HP: How many Health Points and attacks your Chainmon can sustain before it faints and requires reviving.
EM: The strength and knowledge in dealing elemental attacks on an opponent is determined by their Elemental Mastery.
STA: How fast a Chainmon can attack and how long it can endure in continuous farming.
Each Chainmon species has the same BASE stats - However, on birth or when encountered in the wild, the most important individual stats are determined which are fixed. These are fully immutable and create the major unique difference between the strength comparison of Chainmons inside a species.
Consistent training, battling and utilization of Chainmonsters is key to increase their power and utility. Use your Chainmon in battle and send it off to the Gym to train independently in order to increase their individual training values. Each training value is capped and can be targeted specifically by defeating certain Chainmon species often, feeding them special berries and targeted training in the gyms.
Special Berries can also be used to target a specific stat increase.
Chainmons in the wild are usually inexperienced so by training them you can awake their full Potential!
When hitting their maximum Potential you need to spend resources and special items to further enhance their ability to improve. A Chainmon’s Potential Rank greatly boosts their baseline power and strengths and sometimes is required before you can evolve it.
CritRate: The chance of dealing a critical strike, dealing double-damage!
CritDMG: When landing a critical hit, further increase the critical damage bonus.
Heal: When healing or consuming items, your Chainmon recovers much health faster.
Shield: Certain Chainmons and traits come with shield-bearing effects, increasing damage reduction up to completely neglecting incoming damage once!
Resistance: When being hit by an attack, your Chainmon has a chance to fully neglect the damage.
