# Quests

Quests in Chainmonsters serve as the main way to progress throughout the story and world.

There are different categories of Quests available, each serving a specific purpose:

* [World](/game-mechanics/adventure/quests/world-quests.md): Explore side-quests and get a deeper understanding of the world's lore.

* [Event](/game-mechanics/adventure/quests/event-quests.md): During special events, there are additional challenges to claim rewards.
