# Customization

We at Chainmonsters want to push the traditional limits of customization through [interoperability](/game-mechanics/interoperability.md) further than ever.

Players create their own unique character in-game, equip cosmetics unlocked through gameplay and make it truly unique through additional opportunities powered by any of their existing Third-Party NFTs!

After connecting their wallet, players can import and select any NFT and imbue it on top of their in-game character. There are various ways to attach it and we want to offer players as much creative freedom as possible, enabling both simple stamps but also complex patterns, structures or textures:

From quirky and fun designs, to highly exclusive looks. Wear your most interesting and/or valuable NFTs around!

Some examples of how to utilize their NFTs for customization:

* Stamps: Turn an NFT into a stamp and place markings over your body parts and/or clothes.
* Patterns: Use an NFT as a unique pattern for individual clothes.

Chainmonsters will be able to import both 2D as well as 3D NFTs out of the box for anyone to use. Creators and Third-Party projects can further enhance support their individual NFT collections by actively participating in our [Open Cross-Game Interoperability Framework](/game-mechanics/interoperability.md) to make them shine in their best possible light in-game.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wiki.chainmonsters.com/game-mechanics/customization.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
